Railway Jobs Exam Schedule (2026)

The Railway Recruitment Exam Schedule is designed to help candidates stay informed and well-prepared throughout the recruitment process. The online application process will start on 15 January 2026, allowing candidates sufficient time to submit their applications. The last date to apply online is 26 March 2026, and no applications will be accepted after this deadline.

The application correction window will be open from 1 April 2026 to 5 April 2026. During this period, candidates can make necessary corrections to their submitted forms, except for critical details as per railway recruitment rules.

The admit cards for the written examination will be released on 20 April 2026. Candidates must download their admit cards from the official website, as entry to the examination center will not be allowed without a valid admit card and original identification documents.

The written examination is scheduled to take place between 5 May 2026 and 10 May 2026. The exam will test candidates’ knowledge, skills, and suitability for railway positions. The syllabus and exam pattern will be provided in advance to help candidates prepare effectively.

The answer key will be published on 18 May 2026, allowing candidates to review their responses and raise objections if required. The final result is expected to be announced on 10 June 2026.

Candidates who qualify in the written exam will be called for the document verification and medical examination process, which will be conducted from 20 June 2026 onwards.
